Grant & Sponsorship Documents

Prince George Promise accepts applications for both grants and sponsorships.


Promise Grants are requests for funding up to $1500 for innovative projects targeting one or more of the Prince George Promise Youth objectives.  The applicant must provide a detailed proposal and budget that also includes information on how the grantee plans to sustain the project beyond the time frame of the grant.  All applicants must carefully read and adhere to the Promise Grant Application Instructions.

Applications that fail to provide the necessary information and are missing information will be eliminated; the applications  may be updated and submitted again during the next grant cycle. Grant applications are accepted three times a year. The deadlines for the application cycles are February 1, June 1, and October 1. Promise Sponsorships are requests for more immediate funding up to $500. These requests also must support one of the Prince George Promise objectives. All applicants must carefully read and adhere to the instructions included with the Sponsorship Application below. The applications must be sponsored by a Prince George Promise board members in order to be submitted. It is the responsibility of the applicant to contact a board member (email addresses available on the website) and ask for his or her sponsorship. The sponsoring board member must present the completed proposal to the full board at a meeting or through email with information on the project and the manner in which the money is to be utilized. Sponsorship requests may be submitted at any time during the year.
