Hopewell, VA, 01/15/2014 – The Appomattox Regional Library System invites parents and caregivers and their children to participate in a program that encourages reading 30 books in 30 days.  The program begins on February 1 and continues through March 2 at all branches.  Visit your library to pick up a program guide with a reading log or go to www.arls.org to find it online.  Stop by the library each time you have read 10 books to choose a prize book for your child.

Children and teens, ages 5 through 18, may participate by reading one book each week.  Log the book on your reading log and stop by the library each week to choose a free book.  At the end of the month, all participants will be entered into a grand prize drawing for a Nabi tablet for pre-school aged children or a Samsung tablet for older children and teens.

Join us in celebrating the natural curiosity of all children, and the parents and caregivers who embrace and encourage that curiosity in their children and young adults.

For more information on this program and other resources of the Appomattox Regional Library System, please call 804-458-6329 or visit the library website at www.arls.org.
